Field Technician

Job Description: Requirements: Valid driver’s license and considered company insurable Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and other company staff Previous experience in the security field is a plus Work effectively with limited supervision Good administrative responsibility by submitting work orders and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner Ability to work from various heights including ladders, lift trucks, roof tops, and mechanical lifts Maintain confidentiality of work related information and materials Keep customer’s facilities safe and leave it clean when the job is complete Must be able to pass company background check, with no prior criminal convictions, pending criminal charges, or active arrest warrants Job Responsibilities: Perform service and installation of Access Control, CCTV, GPS, and Intrusion systems Evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot products and systems, and perform repairs as necessary Prepare written reports and documentation of service and installation Request equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and completing assignments Attend meetings, workshops, training, and seminars for the purpose of acquiring information required to perform job functions Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, floors, and other areas as required Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls Position and terminate cables, wires, and strapping Mount and fasten control panels and other security equipment, including but not limited to camera equipment and access control equipment Keep informed of new products and developments Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral Organization skills with attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr Actron Systems
