Commercial Loan Operations Specialist (Remote Contract | 6–12 Months) Our client, a growing financial institution, is seeking experienced Commercial Loan Operations Specialists to join their team on a fully remote contract basis for 6–12 months. Following a recent merger, the organization is experiencing increased loan operations volume and is looking for skilled professionals to help support critical lending functions and reduce backlog. This is an excellent opportunity for banking professionals with strong experience in commercial lending operations, loan documentation, post-close review, and mortgage processing. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review commercial loan documentation Perform post-close loan file reviews and quality control audits Process mortgage loan files and ensure documentation accuracy Verify completeness of loan packages and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements Collaborate with lending, underwriting, and operations teams to resolve documentation issues Assist with loan operations workflow management and backlog reduction efforts Required Qualifications Prior experience in commercial loan operations within a bank, credit union, or financial institution Strong background in commercial loan documentation Experience performing post-close review and quality assurance Hands-on mortgage processing experience Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with LaserPro for commercial loan documentation Experience with Encompass for mortgage processing and documentation Familiarity with Fiserv Precision core banking platform Previous experience supporting merger integration efforts or high-volume loan operations environments Position Details Title: Commercial Loan Operations Specialist Location: Remote Duration: 6–12 Month Contract Industry: Banking / Financial Services Candidates with experience as a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist, Loan Operations Analyst, Mortgage Processor, Post-Closing Specialist, or Loan Servicing Specialist are encouraged to apply.
