Business Analyst III

Senior Business AnalystWe are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and business documentation for complex technology initiatives. This individual will partner with business and technical stakeholders, translate needs into clear requirements, and help ensure project work moves from discovery through completion. The role also provides opportunities to guide less-experienced analysts and promote consistent business analysis practices.Lead requirements discovery with business stakeholders and translate business needs into clear, actionable documentation.Evaluate existing workflows and develop current-state and future-state process documentation.Create key business analysis deliverables, including process maps, use cases, requirements documentation, business rules, data definitions, and traceability documentation.Partner with business users, technical teams, project leadership, and external vendors to clarify requirements and resolve documentation gaps.Maintain requirements, backlog items, change requests, and related project tasks throughout the delivery lifecycle.Analyze business processes and application dependencies to identify opportunities for improvement.Support and mentor junior analysts through knowledge sharing, documentation standards, and business analysis best practices.QualificationsSenior-level Business Analyst experience with progressively increasing responsibility.Demonstrated expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.Strong experience creating current-state and future-state process maps and other formal business analysis deliverables.Proficiency with Microsoft Visio or a comparable process-mapping platform.Experience supporting projects delivered through both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Proven ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders across cross-functional project teams.Ability to independently manage priorities, deliverables, and assigned work with limited supervision.Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.EOE STATEMENT: We are an equal opportunity employer.
