Supply Chain Logistics Attendant

Join our team in the vibrant city of Portland, OR, where you will support all logistics and organizational aspects of materials within the network supply chain. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and stage network material.
• Occasionally order minor materials for various work groups.
• Provide contractor support as assigned.
• Operate lifting devices such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and lift gates.
• Successfully pass OSHA-required forklift training.
• Order, receive, and put away materials on shelves and designated locations.
• Receive, verify, and process goods receipts in SAP.
• Consolidate and stage all materials for Network & BMG jobs.
• Maintain a clean and organized storeroom and garage.
• Check caged areas to ensure they are neat and orderly.
• Order minor materials via CART.
• Analyze orders/receipts and report errors such as overages, shortages, and damages.
• Arrange and coordinate material pick-up using telephone, email, and/or fax.
• Communicate effectively and problem-solve with technicians, managers, and contractors.
• Identify and redirect lost or misdirected shipments.
• Provide backup support for other Supply Attendants as needed.
• Perform strenuous physical activities, including lifting/moving items up to 75 lbs and loading/unloading reels in excess of 8,000 lbs.

Requirements

• Certification as an operator on various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts.
• Demonstrable computer skills, including data input in spreadsheets and word documents.
• Proficiency in utilizing ordering systems like SAP and CART.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission and company vehicle as required.
• Capability to work in indoor and outdoor locations with varying temperature conditions.
• Access overhead shelving using stepladders.
• Self-motivation and ability to take direction.
• Successful completion of all required testing and interviews for this position.
• Experience and knowledge of materials and tools used by network technicians.
• Knowledge of Cable and Fiber Material.
• Familiarity with Construction materials and Electrostatic Discharge Handling (ESC) Process.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
