Key Skills & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP licensure for Louisiana (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Recent graduates and experienced SLPs both encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students, with caseloads adjusted based on service minutes and individual needs
• Administer assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress toward IEP goals
• Document services and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
• Consult and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including teachers, school psychologists, and parents
• Offer professional recommendations to support student communication, academic performance, and social interaction

Details & Hours:

• Full-time, onsite contract position
• Standard school hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (dependent on school placement)
