Description:
A Neurologist is needed for a locum opportunity with ongoing coverage.
Dates of Coverage are August 3-9 and October 5-11.
Coverage will be hospital-based.
The reason for coverage is physician departure.
Call is required only when on site.
This position focuses exclusively on inpatient care.
The average number of hospital-based patients per day is approximately 20.
No other neurologists will be present during the assignment.
The group consists of five physicians and five advanced practice providers.
Onsite lab and X-ray services are available.
Documentation is done using an electronic medical record system.
Required neurology procedures include lumbar puncture and thrombolytic therapy.
No additional procedures are required.
Credentialing may take up to two months.
Travel costs will be reimbursed if approved.
