Registered Nurse Staff, Radiology Nursing Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039 Department: Radiology - RNs | Shift: Day | Status: Full-Time | Pay: $47.85 – $60.60 per hour Responsibilities Working closely with Radiology Technical staff to ensure patient safety during all radiology testing Rotating to different radiology modalities to perform specific procedures in Intervention Radiology, CAT Scan, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and MRI Participating in IR procedures in the radiology department Monitoring sedation Starting IVs Caring for cath patients Qualifications Clear, compassionate communication defines how you interact with patients, families, and colleagues Strong clinical judgment guides your decisions, even as priorities shift Thriving in a fast‑paced environment energizes you, especially where teamwork drives outcomes A commitment to evidence‑based practice shapes your daily work Empathy and professionalism are central to your approach Continuous learning and professional growth matter to you A collaborative team culture is something you actively help strengthen To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as an RN in an acute care setting. Be a graduate from an accredited school or university; hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing; a bachelor's degree in nursing; current American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications. Prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC is also required. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with on call, no weekends and minimal holiday coverage.
