Laboratory Technician

Physical Requirements Indoor/Outdoor work which includes varying temperatures, entering coolers and freezers Majority of time is spent standing, walking, pushing, pulling and lifting Required to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required per Safety Policy. Examples of required PPE are: safety glasses, safety shoes, LN gear, face shield, apron, gloves Education Required | High School Diploma or equivalent with three years laboratory experience Preferred | Bachelor's degree in science discipline Responsibilities Maintains reagents, supplies, and calibrated equipment Prepare reagents and materials Calculating results Maintains the cleanliness of the lab Communicates schedule, tests status, and concerns clearly and accurately Write Laboratory Investigations, as needed. Revise Pre-existing Standard Methods and SOPs Trains others on methods & procedures Skills Good Documentation Practices Pipetting Weighing Troubleshoot / Problem solving beyond method defined action Good Communication Familiar with good laboratory techniques #J-18808-Ljbffr
