Job Title: Senior Specialist, Contracts Job Code: 40377 Job Location: Anaheim, CA Schedule: 9/80 – Employees work 9 out of every 14 days (80 hours total) and have every other Friday off. Job Description: Responsible for RFP review and risk assessment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for assigned contracts/programs. Serves as the primary communication conduit between L3Harris and the respective customers. Provides proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements. Analyzes material estimates, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Works with cross‑functional team to prepare proposals and approvals. Prepares and conducts negotiations. Ability to think critically, problem‑solve, and work independently. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work in a team environment. Ability to multi‑task and determine priorities while working on multiple assignments. Ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions with commercial, international, and U.S. Government customers. Champions change‑management process with internal and external teams. Advises management of contractual rights and obligations. Ability to clearly present information to a broad audience, inclusive of management. Essential Functions: Ability to obtain U.S. Government clearance is desired; willingness to travel and to work extended hours as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of prior related experience; alternatively, 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree. 6‑10 years of experience in contracts management. Project management experience. Preferred Additional Skills: MS Office Suite proficiency. NCMA certification. Strong communication skills. Salary ranges vary by location. For Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont, and New York State, the range is $79 K–$147 K. For California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State, and New York City, the range is $91 K–$170 K. Compensation is ultimately based on factors such as experience and geographic location.
