Director of Business Development

Seeking a Business Development Director to lead strategic growth across industrial and engineered-product markets. This individual will identify and develop new customers, markets, applications, and strategic partnerships while driving profitable revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a hunter-minded commercial leader with experience selling engineered products into OEM, industrial manufacturing, and related technical markets . Key Responsibilities Develop and execute business development and go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Identify and secure new OEM, industrial, and strategic accounts . Build relationships with senior decision-makers across engineering, purchasing, operations, and executive leadership. Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, RFQ/RFP activity, proposals, negotiations, and closing. Identify emerging markets, applications, and customer opportunities for engineered products. Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, forecasts, and key performance metrics. Partner with Engineering, Operations, and other internal teams to develop customer‑specific solutions. Lead strategic account development and expand existing customer opportunities. Represent at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows. Provide market intelligence and growth recommendations to executive leadership. Qualifications 8+ years of B2B sales/business development experience , preferably within industrial manufacturing or engineered products. Proven track record of new business acquisition and revenue growth . Experience selling to OEMs, industrial customers, distributors, or technical end users . Strong technical/consultative sales capability and ability to understand engineered solutions. Experience developing new markets and executing strategic growth initiatives. Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Bachelor's degree preferred; Engineering or Business background a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Brightpath Associates LLC
