Senior Building Maintenance Worker

Position Overview Black Hills State University is seeking a full‑time Senior Building Maintenance Worker in the Building & Grounds department. This role is responsible for renovating campus structures, performing carpentry maintenance as needed, and assisting with groundskeeping. Responsibilities Renovate existing campus structures. Perform necessary carpentry maintenance as they arise. Assist with groundskeeping tasks. Schedule installation of projects. Qualifications General carpentry skills. Proficient with necessary tools of the trade. Ability to read and follow blueprints. Professional, clear, and concise communication. Ability to work effectively with others, demonstrating a tactful approach. Ability to lift over 50 pounds. Climb ladders and stairs. Work after hours or on call as needed. Compensation Pay: $18.45 per hour. Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday‑Friday. 12‑month term, 100% appointment.
