Quality Control Lead

Quality Control Manager
Lead quality inspections throughout the vehicle manufacturing and upfitting process
Inspect fabricated components, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, structural systems, and completed vehicles
Conduct final vehicle inspections and approve completed vehicles
Develop and maintain inspection procedures, checklists, and quality standards
Investigate defects, customer complaints, and nonconformances
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
Work with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Service teams to resolve quality issues
Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and nonconformance documentation
Monitor quality metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with safety policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations
Perform and oversee commercial vehicle electrical, mechanical, and structural upfits
Follow work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installations
Five or more years of experience in quality control, automotive, fleet services, manufacturing, or vehicle upfitting
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, upfitting processes, tools, materials, and manufacturing practices
Experience with quality inspections, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
Ability to interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP or business software
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Automotive Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Relevant automotive, manufacturing, or quality certifications are preferred
Ability to stand regularly and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
