You will serve as a FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in S-4, Logistics, of HQTSBATTALION.

Duties

Help

• You will exercise responsibility for maintenance, space allocation, utilization, building alterations, and budget development and execution.
• You will manage an integrated program of repair and preventative maintenance to facilities.
• You will be responsible for the buildings space allocation, utilization, and management of the key control program.
• You will analyze current space assignment standards and recommend reallocations to obtain optimum utilization based upon personnel and program changes.
• You will coordinate and periodically review building emergency programs to include fire and evacuation programs.

• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift and abide by grooming standards for proper donning.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position requires moderately strenuous work to include standing for long periods of time, walking, bending and stooping to observe and study work operations in some industrial, storage or comparable work areas.
• This position requires exposure to strong odors, fumes, confined spaces, moving vehicles, electrical hazards, varying temperatures, dust, dirt, poor ventilation, wetness, falling objects and other dangers

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing, implementing, or reviewing budget development and execution of facility standards and regulations for maintenance, space allocation, and building utilization/alterations; and analyze projects to advise the most efficient and economical plan for completion.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
