Special Services Representative

Assist passengers with special requirements, including unaccompanied minors, VIP passengers, and passengers requiring wheelchair assistance Assist and transport passengers requiring wheelchair assistance to and from assigned gates Carry, push, lift, or pull luggage for passengers requesting assistance Safely lift passengers up and down aircraft stairs and in and out of wheelchairs Escort VIP passengers and unaccompanied minors to and from flights or to meet a receiving adult Read paperwork to identify passenger names, flight information, dates, and special service request details Ensure passengers are taken to the correct destination Properly tag baggage to ensure correct routing Gather wheelchairs in the concourse and return them to the staging area Operate a computer and office productivity machinery Work in an office environment using standard office equipment Requirements HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent Passenger Service Agent Learning Plan TSA - General Security Awareness FAA - Dangerous Goods Awareness OJT - Passenger Assistance Equipment as required Ability to assist and transport passengers requiring wheelchair assistance Ability to carry, push, lift, or pull luggage Ability to safely lift passengers up/down aircraft stairs and in/out of wheelchairs Ability to read paperwork containing passenger names, flight information, dates, and special service request details Ability to properly tag baggage Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time Walk short distances Reach above and/or below shoulder Handle/grasp documents or office equipment Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time Lift/carry/move objects, files and documents up to 10 pounds Talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in assisting passengers with special requirements, including wheelchair assistance and unaccompanied minors, while ensuring safety and proper handling of luggage.
