Job Duties/Scope Of Work

Work Safe, Make a Difference, and Be a Part of History with the CPCCo Team!

At the Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. To achieve our mission, we need exceptionally talented, innovative, and driven people to help us reduce risks on the Hanford Site by removing some of the most hazardous waste streams and facilities in the Department of Energy (DOE) complex. If you would like to work with a highly skilled workforce to achieve unique and challenging goals that critically impact our environment and community, this is your chance to be a part of our legacy!

The Project Controls Associate helps support project reporting, performance tracking, and compliance activities. This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and interested in learning how project performance is measured and reported. The associate works with team members to collect information, prepare reports, review data for accuracy, and help ensure the project follows required Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes and standards. In this role, you would help prepare reports, check data for accuracy, and support EVMS quality control initiatives to ensure the Project Integration group is meeting compliance requirements. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you should be willing to learn reporting tools, follow detailed processes, and work carefully with numbers and documents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare the Monthly Performance Report (MPR): Help create the project's monthly performance report by working with different contributors to collect updates and accomplishments. This includes gathering information from team members, checking that data is complete and accurate, updating reporting tables, analyzing results, formatting the report for consistency, and helping review and publish the final document. This role communicates with internal team members and report contributors to request information, clarify data, and ensure reporting deadlines are met. It requires professionalism, responsiveness, and the ability to work with others across functions.
* Complete formal EVMS performance reporting: Assist with preparing required performance reporting forms, including IPMR Formats 1-5. This involves updating tables to month-end performance values, validating numbers, comparing to other databases for consistency, and making sure reports meet quality and compliance expectations.
* Support routine and special reporting needs: Help prepare additional reports and analyses as needed for management or project oversight. Examples include:
- Project Review tables used to summarize project status and key performance information that individual project will use to report to the client
- Gold Metrics that track important performance indicators
- PARSII reporting, which requires organizing and submitting project data in a required formal format
* Support EVMS compliance activities: Assist with monitoring project processes to help ensure they align with EVMS requirements. This may include helping with gap analyses, tracking issues, reviewing documentation, and supporting follow-up actions to maintain compliance.
* Perform work safely, compliantly, and efficiently: Complete all assigned work in a way that supports site safety, follows company and regulatory requirements, and uses time and resources responsibly.
* Perform other assigned duties: Support additional project controls, reporting, or administrative tasks as needed by the team or manager.

Basic Qualifications

* Early Career Level Grade 14: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

*Proficient in Word and Excel
*Team-oriented with strong interpersonal, communication (written/verbal), and problem-solving skills
*Demonstrated situational adaptability
*Strong analytical and reasoning skills
*Exposure to project management and EVMS systems
*Technical writing skills
