Job Title Physician – Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury Medicine (Open Rank/Track Faculty) Job Summary The Physician provides licensed medical care, including diagnosis, treatment (inclusive of surgery or pre/post‑surgical care where appropriate), case management, and clinical research. The Physician manages complex and sometimes unpredictable situations, and must be competent in technical, clinical, and surgical skills when required, as well as the cognitive and interpersonal skills needed to serve patients receiving aforementioned services. Responsibilities The position may involve inpatient care at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, outpatient services at the West Campus Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care Center, and management of functional sequela after spinal cord injury including neurogenic bowel and bladder, spasticity management, chemodenervation, baclofen pumps, and DME/wheelchair prescription. Qualifications MD or DO Successful completion of an accredited PM&R Residency Program Successful completion of an accredited Spinal Cord Injury Fellowship Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine Eligible for an Ohio Medical License State of Ohio and DEA licensure required Application Process Submit your application electronically via Workday.
