On-Site Paralegal and Legal Assistant

Job Description Job Description Our client in Atlantic City, NJ is looking for multiple experienced ONSITE Paralegals and Legal Assistants with experience in Defense Litigation . Hours are M-F 9am-5pm (fully onsite) Legal Assistant Pay: $25-$29/hr DOE Paralegal Pay: $55,000-$65,000 DOE Responsibilities include: * Conduct legal research and Prepare court lists weekly, Maintain pleadings and discovery, Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices. * Complete pre-trial discovery including summarizing the following: medical records, transcripts, carrier files, wage histories, work histories, personnel records, etc. * Correspond with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to obtain needed information and discovery. * Draft pleadings, motions, appellate documents, and file them with the court. * Provides confidential administrative support to attorneys. * Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail, faxes and deliveries. * Establishes, maintains, processes and oversees files, correspondence, databases, records, certificates and/or other documents. * Schedules appointments and performs other duties related to maintaining attorney schedules Benefits Include: 401(k), Dental Insurance, Employee Discount, Flexible Spending Account, Health Insurance, Holidays & Floating Holidays, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Vision Insurance, Voluntary Insurance, Wellness Programs Company Description PrideStaff is a 16 time Best of Staffing Award Winning full-service staffing company.
