This position will work in either of the following locations: Fresno, Glendale, Pasadena, Pleasanton, Sacramento, or San Diego

Job Description and Duties: Specialty Operations, Large Account Underwriting has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative at the Workers' Compensation Insurance Technician classification. These positions are responsible for processing new and renewal policies as well as servicing existing accounts within assigned underwriting authority in compliance with corporate underwriting and marketing advisories, guidelines and procedures. A Customer Service Representative also handles a large volume of written correspondence and performs an extensive amount of customer contact over the telephone. Workers' compensation insurance preferred. Desirable Qualifications:

• Be able to communicate professionally, effectively both verbally and in writing
• Be able to review, analyze and prioritize incoming work
• Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Have excellent organizational and time management skills to work within strict timelines
• Have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Be willing to accept responsibilities in different areas for business needs
• Can communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
• Provide excellent customer service in a timely manner
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and/or communication availability during working hours
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships and uphold principles of integrity in the workplace
• Ability to manage a large volume of work
• Demonstrate a positive attitude in a challenging environment
• Occasional travel may be required
