Field Service Engineer - Gas Chromatography

CEIS Power is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with 5+ years of experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing analytical instrumentation used in the petrochemical industry. This is a direct hire opportunity with a leading OEM and field service company supporting refineries, chemical plants, and independent laboratories. This position requires heavy travel to customer sites. Responsibilities Install, commission, and service gas chromatography (GC) systems and elemental analyzers at customer sites Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, validation, and performance testing of analytical instrumentation Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and electromechanical equipment to minimize customer downtime Troubleshoot instrumentation, control systems, and related equipment to identify and resolve technical issues Verify equipment performance in accordance with ASTM methods and customer specifications Document service activities, calibration results, and repair reports accurately Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance Travel approximately 90% to refineries, chemical plants, and laboratories to support scheduled maintenance, equipment startups, commissioning, and emergency service calls Maintain a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction while representing the company in the field Qualifications 5+ years of field service experience supporting gas chromatographs (GC), elemental analyzers, or similar analytical instrumentation Experience installing, maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and electromechanical equipment Working knowledge of ASTM testing methods and laboratory or refinery analytical equipment Strong electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting skills Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills Ability and willingness to travel approximately 90% of the time Preferred Experience Experience working in refineries, petrochemical plants, or analytical laboratories OEM field service experience Knowledge of process analyzers, industrial instrumentation, and control systems Experience commissioning and validating analytical equipment If you are interested or know someone that may fit this position and you require more information please contact Wesley at View phone number on click.appcast.io.
