Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekends and Holidays Included | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
• Manage a patient population that includes Cardiac, Diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal, General Surgery, and Orthopedics
• Administer and monitor IV drips including insulin, heparin, and Lasix with proficiency
• Float to units of like acuity or less as needed based on census
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs, and unit secretaries
• Accept IMCU patients as needed based on census demands

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or valid compact license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current CPI certification required
• License must be free of any open or unresolved findings at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health record system
• Prior experience in a Med-Surg Telemetry or IMCU setting
