Quality Engineer

Quality Assurance SpecialistResponsibilities:Assist in maintaining quality manual, policies, procedures, forms and work instructionsAssist in internal quality auditsCreate PPAP/FAT/FAIR/FPI, and other customer submission packages and submit to Quality Team for approval and submission to customer.Perform final inspection duties as neededPerform receiving inspection duties as neededMonitor and create quality and KPI reports for submission to managementOther responsibilities as required by Quality TeamAuthority to stop production when parts, components or material is non-conformingJob Experience & Skill Requirements:7-10 Years minimum experience in quality7-10 Years minimum experience in fabrication industry, (job shop environment) preferable.Ability to read and analyze blue printsProficient in the application and use of GD&TAbility to read all types of measurement devicesProficient in AIAG and ISO quality documentsAbility to communicate with all leaders in the companyProficient in quality standard ISO 9001-2015 / IATF-16949Proficient in the use of SPC, MSA, APQP, FMEA and PPAPProficient in use of MinitabKnowledge and use of Romer inspection arm (Preferred)Proficient in Microsoft office applications and AdobeGood customer relation skillsEducation Requirements:4 Years post high school education in quality or engineering disciplineSix Sigma green or black belt (Preferred)Job Type: Full-timePay: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftDay shiftWork Location: In person
