Experience a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist in the scenic area near Lusby and Prince Frederick, Maryland. This full-time position offers a flexible, hybrid schedule with the chance to make a meaningful impact supporting students across two local schools within the district, with placements tailored according to age group and location preferences. You’ll collaborate closely with dedicated educators and families, providing in-person student-centered services while also enjoying opportunities to work remotely, as permitted by the district’s hybrid guidelines.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a School Psychologist in Maryland (MD)
- Open to applications from out-of-state certified professionals and recent graduates
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting educational and emotional needs of diverse student populations
- Ability to travel between two school sites within the district
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop intervention strategies for students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and well-being
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators regarding student needs and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance on student-centered plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
