Their project portfolio includes full-space interior buildouts, ground-up construction, multi-location rollouts, and complex MEP coordination for some of the country's most recognizable brands.They are seeking a Mid-Level Estimator to join their Garden City, NY headquarters and play a key role in preconstruction across their core market sectors.What You'll DoPrepare detailed estimates for commercial interior projects including retail, medical, and health & fitness buildoutsEstimate ground-up construction scopes including site development, shell & core, MEP undergrounds, and exterior facade systemsPerform quantity takeoffs and develop thorough bid packages across all tradesSolicit, level, and analyze subcontractor and vendor bidsCollaborate with project managers and field teams during preconstruction to support value engineering and budget alignmentMaintain standardized estimating processes across multiple concurrent projects and geographiesReview architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps and riskSupport proposal development and client presentations with accurate, well-organized cost dataWhat They're Looking For4-8 years of estimating experience with a general contractor, ideally in commercial interiorsDirect experience estimating retail, medical/clinical, and health & fitness project types strongly preferredExposure to ground-up construction scopes including MEP, site work, and shell & coreStrong ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, and structural drawingsExperience with full-space interior buildouts from demolition through final finishProficiency in estimating software (Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar); Excel requiredDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under deadline pressureStrong communication skills for subcontractor outreach, scope review, and internal collaborationWhat Our Client Offers$100,000 - $130,000 based on experienceExposure to a diverse, high-profile national project portfolio across retail, medical, and fitness sectorsCollaborative preconstruction team with strong field and PM supportStable, established company with nearly 40 years in the industry and a 98% on-time completion rateClear path for growth as the company continues to scale nationallyCob2Salary/Rate:NegotiableJob Type:Office BasedContract Type:PermanentTown/City:Garden CityCounty:New YorkSector:Construction & DevelopmentJob ref:JN -062026-85441_1782925116Post Date:07. 01. 2026
