We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to drive supplier quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead supplier quality investigations, nonconformance management, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Manage Supplier Quality Notifications (SQNs), Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and supplier performance metrics.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and support root cause investigations.
- Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and qualification activities.
- Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve supplier quality issues.
- Support supplier development, risk management, process improvements, and quality system compliance.
- Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Systems.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, CAPA, supplier audits, and quality management systems.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP/QMS platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- ASQ CQE, CSQP, CQA, or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
- Lead auditor certification (ISO 9001/ISO 13485) is a plus.
A proactive, hands-on quality professional who can influence suppliers, drive issue resolution, and improve overall supplier performance while ensuring compliance, quality, and operational excellence.
