About the Practice Group
Tax lawyers create innovative structures and solve complex tax issues for a full spectrum of clients. Our tax lawyers advise multinational corporations, financial institutions, private equity funds, domestic corporations, joint ventures, emerging companies, special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), and tax-exempt organizations. The firm has a long and rich history with the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and US Department of the Treasury, dating back to founding partner tenure as Commissioner of the IRS under President Eisenhower. Today, more than 100 tax lawyers around the globe collaborate across offices and disciplines to address tax issues that arise in the context of transactions, controversies, and general business operations. While tax questions are often complex, we develop practical, commercial answers for clients across a range of industries. About the Role
The Tax Department is conducting a national search for senior associates with a minimum of 4 years of law-firm experience dedicated to transactional tax matters, including domestic and cross-border M&A matters, partnership tax matters, private equity fund formation, capital markets, and financings.
