Responsibilities Network equipment experience Cat6 termination Fiber knowledge Layout and install wireway, bus duct, cable tray, switches, receptacles and other devices Build closets, including mounting and installing backboards, cross‑connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic cables and hardware Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required Complete all IDC connections (e.g., terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels) Pull wire or oversee and direct conduit installations and wire pulling Operate tools/equipment that normally require two hands (cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.) Qualifications Proficient with listed tools Proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including specifications, reporting and quality requirements Knowledge of universal communications color codes Entry Level experience preferred Schedule & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA. Fully onsite. Monday–Friday 6 a.m.–5 p.m. Includes work inside and outside buildings and in data centers.
