Benefits Representative

Collin County is seeking exceptional candidates to fill the position of Benefits Representative.A Benefits Representative is responsible for, but not limited to, the day-to-day administration of benefits for county employees. Work is performed under the direction of the Human Resources Risk Manager. Primary Functions Administration of benefits for county employees including retirement, medical, dental, life insurance, long-term care, short-term and long-term disability, and FMLA. Assisting employees by answering benefit questions and providing benefit information. Assisting with enrollment forms and insurance claims. Preparing correspondence and reports. Processing insurance administration bills and entering new-hire paperwork. Presenting new-hire orientation. Performing other duties as assigned. The current opening has a primary focus on FMLA and other leave administration and reports to the Human Resources Risk Manager. Minimum Qualifications Must possess the knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Human Resources or a related field At least two (2) years or more of experience, preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record. Strong communication skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail are required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Canva. PeopleSoft experience is strongly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
