Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Guard in Chino, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. - Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, warehouses, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and delivery traffic, verifying credentials, following post orders, and supporting orderly site access.
- Assist with incident reporting, foot and/or vehicle patrol activity, and communication with site leadership regarding security-related issues, damaged property, and/or operational disruptions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
