Primary Location: Buckley Space Force Base (SFB) Clearance: TS/SCI (required) Employment Type: Full-time, Contract Support 24/7 rotating shift Job description Primary Location Buckley Space Force Base (SFB) Clearance TS/SCI (required) Employment Type Full-time, Contract Support Position Overview STGS is seeking Junior Operations Specialists to support Missile Warning and Test Operations as part of a 24/7 operations team. This role provides junior-level operational support ensuring continuous system availability through shift-based operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates foundational knowledge of system operations and maintenance and thrives in a mission-focused, team-oriented operational environment. Impact In this role, you will directly support around-the-clock missile warning operations, contributing to the continuous availability and reliability of systems critical to national defense. Your work supports real-time mission execution and provides essential operational continuity to senior operators and engineers. Responsibilities Provide junior-level 24/7 operational support to Missile Warning and Test operations. Support continuous system operations through shift-based operational coverage. Demonstrate competence in system operation and basic maintenance activities. Follow established operational procedures, checklists, and guidance. Escalate issues appropriately to senior operations and engineering staff. Support mission readiness and system availability across all operational shifts. Required Knowledge & Experience Basic understanding of mission operations environments Familiarity with shift-based 24/7 operations concepts Ability to follow detailed operational procedures and instructions Foundational knowledge of system operations and maintenance Ability to work effectively in a team-based operational environment Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) not required Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
