We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team specializing in Data Centre, Project & Construction Management . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Health & Safety, MEP Engineering, and Land Development & Acquisition , with a passion for driving excellence in project execution.

Responsibilities


As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of data centre projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the development and management of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and procurement, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborating with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering teams to oversee technical aspects of the project.
• Assisting in land development and acquisition processes, including liaising with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and change orders.
• Identifying and resolving project challenges to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors.

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably within the data centre or construction industry.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
• Familiarity with MEP Engineering principles and processes.
• Experience in Land Development & Acquisition is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a keen attention to detail.

Day-to-Day


On a typical day, you can expect to:

• Attend project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
• Review project schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers to address technical issues and implement solutions.
• Prepare and distribute project updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Support the land acquisition team in negotiations and regulatory approvals.
• Address any project risks or delays, working collaboratively to develop mitigation strategies.
