Transactional Tax Associate - Investment Funds

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Transactional Tax Associate to join their Investment Funds Group in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will focus on partnership tax issues and support the asset management practice. Duties Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and business professionals. Produce deliverables and respond to correspondence efficiently. Provide timely and accurate work products. Meet deadlines and perform required duties. Foster positive work relationships. Comply with firm policies and practices. Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as needed. Manage competing demands in a fast‑paced environment. Requirements 4 to 6 years of subchapter K partnership tax experience. Experience in asset management practice preferred. JD degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice in the state of Illinois. Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks.
