Quick Facts Location: Sumter, SC Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date: 02/01/2027 Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) Hours/Week: 36 Employment Type: Contract/Travel Licenses/Certifications: Active South Carolina license, BC in Emergency Medicine, BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA Experience: Minimum 2 years in emergency medicine Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $166.92 Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable What You ll Do Provide urgent care support alongside MDs, NPs, and PAs in a high-volume emergency department Stabilize patients and assist in trauma and critical care procedures Document clinical encounters efficiently using Epic EMR system Support trauma and pediatric cases within a Level 1 trauma center Ensure compliance with all licensing, certifications, and safety protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care What You NeedRequired: Active South Carolina license Board Certification in Emergency Medicine Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications DEA registration Clean background (or required documentation if not clean) Preferred: Experience in trauma and pediatric emergency cases Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment About the Assignment Join a busy emergency department that handles a diverse patient population including adults, children, and trauma cases.
