Allied Health - Pharmacy Technician II

Pharmacy Technician

This position requires a California-licensed pharmacy technician working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The technician will be responsible for the packaging, preparation, and sterile compounding of intravenous medications as well as injectable medications, including chemotherapy and other biohazardous drugs. All duties must be performed in accordance with USP and safety guidelines.

Minimum qualifications and experience: At least 6 months of performing related duties as a pharmacy technician. Licensed pharmacy technician license in good standing with California Board of Pharmacy. High school or equivalent or post high school vocational/specialized training or graduation from a foreign school of pharmacy.

Location: 3747 Worsham Ave. #101 Long Beach, CA 90808

Duration: 6 months

Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm

FTE conversion/extension possibility? Possible, depending on performance and timeline.
