Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit at a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Manage peripheral lines and PICC lines in accordance with clinical protocols
• Titrate IV drips as ordered and within scope of practice
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Complete non-billable orientation modules as required by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5)
• EPIC EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience with peripheral and PICC line care and management
• Familiarity with titrating drips in an intermediate or step-down care setting
