Test Analyst

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in quality assurance engineering and system software testing.

• Proficiency in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies and execution within public sector initiatives.

• Experience with child support program policies, case management operations, and associated workflows.

• Experience in testing and validating system compliance against federal child support enforcement regulations.

• Experience with test management and defect tracking software including Jira, Xray, ALM, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience in end-to-end, regression, and functional testing on large-scale government modernization systems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles across enterprise child support modules.

• Formulate detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on functional specifications.

• Conduct functional, end-to-end, and regression testing to verify system quality and readiness.

• Log software bugs, analyze testing results, and author comprehensive defect tracking reports.

• Validate system processing against child support business policies, workflows, and federal reporting criteria.

• Participate in defect triage meetings to verify code corrections and perform retesting procedures.

• Collaborate with program staff, implementation vendors, and technical leads to resolve complex integration issues.
