Cardiovascular Tech
Join our team as a Cardiovascular Tech, where you'll play a vital role in conducting essential echocardiograms and supporting our cardiology team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct color flow Doppler echocardiograms following established protocols
- Perform stress echocardiograms according to established protocols
- Assist cardiologist in transesophageal echocardiograms
- Submit high-quality echocardiograms within appropriate time frames
- Identify and conduct echocardiograms and other non-invasive tests without delegation
- Recognize and report equipment malfunctions
- Maintain safety standards and follow infection control guidelines
- Participate in performance improvement programs
What We Need To See
- Active Registered Cardiac Ultrasound Tech certification from ARDMS or CCI
- Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting echocardiograms
- Associate degree in a relevant field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform multiple duties in a high-volume area
- Ability to retain composure under stress
