ICD Construction is a licensed general building contractor in Riverside (CSLB #1063371) doing water damage mitigation, mold remediation, and full rebuild for homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients across the Inland Empire. We’re adding restoration technicians who can run a loss the right way: stop the damage, dry it to standard, document every day, and hand it to our rebuild crew clean.

What you’ll do

• Respond to water losses (residential and light commercial): extract, remove unsalvageable materials, apply antimicrobials, set containment

• Design and set the drying chamber — air movers, LGR/desiccant dehumidifiers — and monitor daily with moisture meters and thermo-hygrometers until dry standard is reached

• Document every day: drying log, labeled photos, and a daily report in Contractor Foreman (this is a core part of the job, not paperwork)

• Communicate clearly with clients on their worst day; keep the site safe, clean, and secure

• Maintain and track equipment; keep the truck stocked

• Cross-train into rebuild (drywall, baseboard, minor carpentry) if you want to grow into it

What you bring

• IICRC WRT (ASD preferred) and 2+ years hands-on water mitigation — or a trainee with 1+ year of construction/trades experience ready to earn WRT within 90 days (we pay for it)

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500; comfortable with pin/pinless meters and equipment sizing

• Valid California driver’s license and an insurable driving record — this role drives company vehicles to job sites with equipment, and alternative transportation isn’t comparable in time or cost

• Availability for a rotating on-call schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable response

• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly (team-lift heavier), work in attics and crawlspaces, wear a respirator when needed, and work in wet and hot conditions — with or without reasonable accommodation

• Comfortable documenting on a phone or tablet in English (insurance files require it); Spanish is a big plus

Nice to have: ASD, AMRT, FSRT; EPA RRP; OSHA 10; Xactimate, Encircle, MICA, or magicplan; Category 3 and commercial loss experience.
