The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Health & Disease is seeking to fill a Nurse Practitioner role for University of Cincinnati Medical Center hybrid inpatient/outpatient.Essential Functions:Practice clinical and patient care according to professional practice standards and institutional policies and procedures.Conduct intake assessment/triage/admission, including pertinent history, physical, and psychosocial dimensions.Identify patient's needs and be involved in ongoing assessment when appropriate.Interpret patient's condition and abnormal findings and communicate in a timely manner to the physician and all appropriate members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.Participate in hospital and provider performance improvement activities.Required Education:Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.Required Trainings/Certifications:Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority.Active Board Certification in appropriate nursing specialty.Required Experience:Three (3) years nursing experience.Physical Requirements/Work Environment:Sitting - OftenRepetitive hand motion (such as typing) - OftenHearing, listening - OftenTalking - OftenStanding - OftenWalking - OftenBending - SeldomStooping - SeldomKneeling, squatting - SeldomReaching overhead - SeldomPulling, pushing - SeldomLifting - over 50 pounds - Not RequiredCompensation and Benefits:UC offers an exceptional benefits package designed to support your well-being, financial security, and work-life balance.
