Production Technician

Help build advanced electro-mechanical and robotic equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision, teamwork, and innovation come together to create real-world technology.

City & State: Westboro, Massachusetts

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

Hours: 3:00PM-11:30PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a Production Technician to support the manufacturing of complex electro-mechanical equipment. This role may involvehands-on assembly,material handling, or a combination of both depending on operational needs. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, production-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Electromechanical Assembly

• Prepare work by reviewingassembly instructions, blueprint specifications, parts lists, and work orders.
• Gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials for production.
• Assist withassembly, repair, and reworkof electro-mechanical components and systems.

Production & Material Handling Support

• Move, stage, and deliver materials and components to production workstations.
• Operatepallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment.
• Supportkitting, labeling, and organizationof production parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory through properdocumentation and scanning.

Quality & Documentation

• Performquality inspectionsand understand critical-to-quality standards.
• Document production activity by completingproduction records and quality entries.
• Follow written work instructions and input data intomanufacturing systems.

Safety & Team Collaboration

• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Assist with maintaining supply inventory by monitoring stock levels and verifying receipt of materials

Required Skills

• Ability to stand for7+ hours per shift.
• Ability to liftup to 30 lbs.
• Ability to read and followEnglish-language work instructions.
• Comfortable using ahandheld scanner.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience withERP, MES, or inventory management systems.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing documentation such aswork instructions, drawings, or traveler paperwork.
• Familiarity withsafe material handling practices(lifting, staging, carts, PPE).
• Strong attention to detail, particularly withlabeling and part accuracy.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, includingoccasional overtime.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to performdata entry using computers and manufacturing software.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work effectively in ateam-based manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working in a mechanical environment and usingpower tools and related equipment.
