Our global headquarters is located in Baraboo, WI, located on 250 acres and surrounded by beautiful restored native prairies. We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Chief Financial Officer to provide leadership for global financial management, planning, compliance, and stewardship across ICF's international programs and operations to support our conservation goals.This full-time position offers a starting annual salary between $140,000 - 150,000. Additionally, you will have access to our comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer contributions, generous paid time off, and additional perks designed to support work-life balance and well-being. The CFO serves as a key strategic advisor to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Board of Directors, leading financial strategy, long-range financial planning, enterprise risk management, internal controls, treasury management, financial compliance, and organizational stability. You will lead and mentor a talented international finance team that supports operations in the United States, Africa, and Asia, ensuring financial practices remain effective, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.To be successful in this role, you must be a collaborative and forward-thinking leader with strong expertise in nonprofit financial management, strategic planning, and organizational governance. You must also have a proven ability to strengthen financial systems, support program growth, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and translate complex financial information into actionable insights for leadership and board decision- making.Qualifications:Bachelor 's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related fieldCPA designationAt least five years of experience serving as a CFO or in an equivalent senior financial leadership roleExperience with nonprofit financial management, international finance management, GAAP compliance, board reporting, budget and forecasting, audit management, and staff leadershipPreferred qualifications include:Master's Degree in Business or a related fieldInternational financial management experienceKnowledge of federal grant complianceEndowment management experienceFamiliarity with Sage MIP (Abila) accounting software.This position may be of interest to candidates with experience as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Vice President of Finance, Finance Director, Finance Executive, Chief Finance and Administration Officer, or Senior Finance Leader.
