Position Summary:

The Welcome Center Representative plays a vital role in shaping the member and guest experience. Reporting to the Director of Membership, this individual serves as the face of the Y-greeting, engaging, and supporting all who enter our doors. The role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Current certification in Red Cross First Aid and Adult CPR/AED (available through the Y)
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Ability to work a consistent schedule, including all assigned shifts regardless of weather
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Commitment to inclusion and ADA compliance
• Outgoing, dependable, and mission-driven personality
• Reliable transportation
