Nexus Employment is hiring a Batch Mixer to join a growing manufacturing team in Portage, IN. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for steady work, competitive pay, and long-term growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Gather, weigh, and mix ingredients according to batch recipes

• Cook and prepare finished batches for production use

• Read and follow batch records and production instructions

• Operate batching systems (heated & non-heated)

• Clean and sanitize batching equipment

• Perform basic preventative maintenance

• Follow all safety and quality procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Manufacturing or batch mixing experience (preferred, not required)

• Basic computer skills (PLC experience a plus)

• Intermediate math skills

• Strong communication skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team
