Position: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) Home Healthcare

Location: Del Rio and Uvalde. Facility: Rotech Healthcare

Pay & Incentives

• $33 to $40 per hour depending on related experience
• Bonus opportunity available
• $4,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • $2,000 at 60 days
  • $2,000 at 180 days
• Vehicle structure currently being confirmed with local management

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Field based role with daily travel to patient homes

Coverage Area

• Del Rio
• Uvalde
• Must support both territories as needed
• Additional travel to other nearby locations may be required

On Call Expectations

• On call responsibilities required
• No formal rotation schedule currently in place
• Must be available to respond to patient and equipment needs after hours

Overview

This is a full time, field based clinical role focused on in home respiratory care.

• Conduct in home patient assessments
• Provide education on respiratory equipment and therapy
• Set up and adjust ventilators and oxygen therapy per physician orders
• Troubleshoot equipment issues in real time
• Provide ongoing follow up and phone support
• Participate in after hours call coverage
• Support training of new clinical staff

Qualifications

• Active license based on role and Texas state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned territory

Preferred

• Healthcare or respiratory therapy experience
• Home healthcare or DME experience
• 1 plus year clinical experience
• Degree in respiratory therapy, nursing, or related field

Skills

• Strong patient communication and education
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Problem solving and equipment troubleshooting
• Time management and organization

Technical Requirements

• Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
• Email and digital documentation systems
• Standard office equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 65 lbs
• Daily driving and in home patient visits
• Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
• Exposure to patient environments and potential health risks
• Must comply with N95 fit testing requirements
