Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Intervention Specialist supporting students in a vibrant educational environment near Granville, OH. This full-time role begins August 17, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027. Work onsite, collaborating with dedicated staff to foster student growth and success. As a co-teacher, you'll provide essential support in both elementary and high school classrooms across a diverse caseload.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Ohio Intervention Specialist (OH IS) credential required
- Experience teaching in special education settings preferred
- Familiarity with a range of disabilities and differentiated instruction
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
- Ability to create inclusive and supportive classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-teach alongside general education teachers in assigned elementary and high school classrooms
- Provide tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals
