Position: Registered Nurse - Mother Infant Care

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Mother Infant Care team. This position focuses on providing care for postpartum couplets, postpartum patients, gynecological surgery patients, and low-risk antepartum patients.

Shift Details

This is a night shift position consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 1900 to 0730. Weekend work is required at least every third weekend, and holidays will be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of postpartum couplets and gynecological surgery patients.
• Perform intravenous (IV) skills, blood draws, and Foley catheter insertion, management, and removal.
• Complete newborn assessments and perform necessary blood draws, including 24-hour testing and hearing screenings.
• Manage glucose levels and perform Eat, Sleep, Console assessments for newborns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mother Infant Nurse.
• Experience with EPIC documentation system.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.

Additional Information

Applicants must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility to be eligible for this position.
