Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mother Infant RN for a night shift contract requiring 2+ years of postpartum nursing experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Care for postpartum couplets, postpartum patients, gynecological surgery patients, and low-risk antepartum patients
• Newborn care includes assessments, blood draws, 24-hour testing, hearing screening, glucose management, and Eat, Sleep, Console assessments
• Uses Epic EMR
• Night shift, 3x12s, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation required at least every 3rd weekend
• Holiday coverage required as assigned
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mother Infant nurse required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficient in IV skills, blood draws, and foley insertion/management/removal

Additional Information

• Perform maternal and newborn assessments, monitoring, and related nursing care
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
• 13-week contract assignment
