Supporting a federal government client, the part-time Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert will provide senior-level technical expertise in evaluating innovative technologies, assessing cybersecurity architectures, and identifying security risks while working remotely with occasional in-person meetings. Key responsibilities Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert for technical evaluations of research and development efforts Assess cybersecurity architectures and evaluate risks across proposed solutions Prepare technical assessments and collaborate with stakeholders to support evaluation activities Required qualifications 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related technical discipline Experience performing cybersecurity assessments and technical evaluations Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST RMF and NIST SP 800-53 Experience evaluating security considerations for cloud, software, or emerging technologies U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher clearance
