Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $105,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate financial reporting. Support month end and year end close activities, including account analysis and general ledger maintenance. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives to support business objectives. Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide meaningful insights to management. Participate in audit support, process improvement initiatives, and special accounting projects as needed. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of public accounting experience, or at least three years of progressive corporate accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation processes. Previous experience working with accounting systems, financial software, and Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and consistently meet deadlines. Qualifications Strong analytical and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external business partners. Highly organized professional with strong time management and prioritization skills. Proactive and adaptable team player committed to continuous improvement and professional growth.
