Laboratory Technician

Base Pay Range $19.50/hr - $20.00/hr Shift: Tuesday–Saturday | 4:00 AM–12:30 PM OR 5:00 AM–1:30 PM Pay: $20/HR We are seeking a Lab Associate to join a fast‑paced diagnostic laboratory environment. This role involves performing a variety of laboratory tests, processing animal specimens, running diagnostic instruments, and maintaining lab operations. Ideal for candidates with high‑volume lab, vet tech, biology, warehouse, or fast‑paced production experience. Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory analyses and tests on animal specimens. Process, label, and prepare samples (blood, urine, fecals, biopsies). Run instrument protocols and support diagnostic workflows. Maintain lab cleanliness and equipment. Manage inventory, restock supplies, and support administrative tasks. Enter data, maintain records, and release test results. Follow all SOPs, safety rules, and PPE requirements. Must-Have Skills Ability to read and follow SOPs. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Good computer skills (Microsoft Office; SAP a plus). Ability to stand/move for entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs. Comfortable handling biological samples (with PPE). Preferred Backgrounds Specimen Processor / Accessioner from clinical labs (LabCorp, Quest, hospitals). Vet Tech or Veterinary Assistant (especially from busy clinics).
