Senior Accountant

Our client, a premier name in the industrial distribution space with over 100+ locations nationwide, is seeking a tech-forward Senior Corporate Accountant. This is not a "heads-down" entry-processing role. You will serve as a critical bridge between the Corporate Controller and 100+ individual branches, ensuring financial integrity while driving a transition toward advanced data analytics and FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Multi-Entity Accounting: Manage the monthly, 1st, and 15th reporting cycles to produce comprehensive financial statements for 100+ individual branches.

• Month-End Orchestration: Coordinate all month-end entries, prepaids, and amortizations. Work in lockstep with the Staff Accountant and Assistant Controller to ensure a seamless close.

• Analytical Transformation: Once the close is streamlined, you will pivot into an FP&A-oriented capacity—analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and flagging discrepancies for the executive team.

• Audit & Tax Compliance: Lead audit preparation and ensure Sales & Use Tax compliance and filings across multiple jurisdictions.

• Systems & GL Maintenance: Maintain the General Ledger and oversee reconciliations and journal entries within the Epicor ERP environment.
